In addition to the NCA and tobacco manufacturer you should consider a range of other open sources i.e. HMCR, National statistics office, NGO's and Health sources (NHS) etc. In last year's Strategic Assessment the Illegal Tobacco trade was highlighted as an emerging issue, the concern is that local organised crime groups are diversifying into this area. The divisional commander (head of unit) as decided that this matter should feature in this year's assessment for consideration as a potential priority crime. It is therefore your task to undertake the necessary research and work for inclusion in the assessment.
