Interest Groups in Your City

Interest groups, while not appointed or elected officials, serve important roles in any community. Interest groups also tell an observer, public official or researcher about what may be important in a certain community, what may not be important, and something about the history of the city. What interest groups are present in your city (Tacoma, WA) (your own, or the one you work for), and around what interest have they formed. Select one or two to highlight (if you have one that is not present in any surrounding city, try to share that one).

2) All About You Time
Share your impressions, concerns (if any), and surprising new knowledge (find something) gained from briefing yourself on the interest groups in your city.
