Your supervisin" rel="nofollow">ing solicitor asks you to write a memorandum summarisin" rel="nofollow">ing your comments on the draft lease as discussed in" rel="nofollow">in the Preparatory Task and the two Workshop Tasks.
Draft the memorandum to your supervisin" rel="nofollow">ing solicitor, in" rel="nofollow">incorporatin" rel="nofollow">ing your comments on:
(i) whether the lease complies with the 2007 Code in" rel="nofollow">in respect of the provisions for rent, repair and assignment and, if not, any amendments you would make;
(ii) the wordin" rel="nofollow">ing of the tenant’s repairin" rel="nofollow">ing covenant in" rel="nofollow">in the draft lease and any amendments you would make, with reasons;
(iii) the clauses relatin" rel="nofollow">ing to assignment and any amendments you would make, with reasons; and
(iv) briefly summarisin" rel="nofollow">ing how, on expiry of the lease, Epharesse’s position as tenant would be protected if it wished to stay on at Unit 15. For the purposes of this
answer assume that clause 46 of the draft lease has been removed.
