International Business ( QATAR)

Assume you are International Development Manager for a large U.S. based multi-national corporation.  Your CEO has asked you to identify and address several issues that will determine if your company will expand to your selected country. You can use any sources you choose, however, I want a bibliography of all sources used. I will give you a little advice.  A good starting place is to contact the Counsel General or Embassy for your selected country.  They will have a large volume of information for you on this matter however, don’t rely on only one source.   The issues you will address in the project are:   -Is the country a member of the WTO -Distance and Logistics Issues -Language and Cultural Differences -Currency Issues -Labor Force (education level, unionized, etc.) -Availability of Natural Resources -Customs/Tariff or Cross-Border Issues -Legal System -Political Risks -Level of Development of your country -Any other information you think might be helpful   The most important things I will be looking for in your Project are your analysis, professionalism and creativity! In the conclusion, you will give the CEO your advice about the expansion based on all your research.  Your analysis is important.  Please remember the HCC honor code!
