International business strategy Order Description   The review should be no more than 1000 words in length and should address the following issues: 1.The position of the article in the wider debate about processes of strategy (with evidence from further reading to support this) 2. The main strength and weakness of the article Read the articles attached and write a critical analysis. Think about and decide which debate in strategy is most important to the article - what is the fundamental point the author(s) is trying to make. I would try and boil this down into either processes of strategy (is the article saying something about how strategy is made) or drivers of strategy (is the article saying something about organisations or environments detemining strategy) For the first part of the assignment, you will need to choose one debate and explain where your article fits in with it. For example, you might want to discuss prescriptive and emergent approaches to strategy and then explain where in this spectrum your article fits. You will need to do some research around the debate and I would focus on academic journal articles for this For the second part of the assignment I want you to identify what you see as the main strength and the main weakness and discuss them. I have no real preferences for how you do this but please do focus on just one strength and one weakness. • Choose one debate you think your article fits into - either processes or drivers of strategy probably works best • Identify one strength and one weakness of your article • Do as much research and wide reading as possible - don't rely on lecture notes or textbooks, focus on academic journal articles.
