Interview

Visit and interview a teacher in a center-based charter school. Also, make sure to maintain the school's confidentiality. Ask them the following: • How do they determine if a child has special needs or not? • What actions (if any), do they take if they believe a child may have some sort of developmental delay / issue? Have them explain why they take the actions they do or don't once they think the child may have a developmental issue. • How do they work with parents who may be in denial about their child possibly having a developmental issue?
