Interview a nonprofit or organization that is involved with diversity in sport. This can either be a phone or in-person interview (preferably in-person).
The content of the interview will be left up to you, with the objective of learning about the organization, its impact, and the direction it is headed.
Upon completion of the interview, you will write a 6-page paper. The content of the paper should reflect your interest and experience with the interview. You may use the following discussion points as guidelines:
What does the organization do and how do they accomplish their mission
What did you find that was valuable information
What was your personal reactions to the organization
How does participation in this class and the experience of learning about your organization of choice propel you forward as a sport psychology consultant? As a human?
How do you think this organization could expand? Did you notice any missing pieces?
