Community Outreach Group Deputy Canvass Managers will be tasked with many different task, and must manage conflicts swiftly and justly as they arise. The first step in our interview process is a skills evaluation. Please complete the tasks below and develop a short plan of action, or response, for the scenario/question presented. Keep in mind that there are multiple "right" ways to do this, the purpose of this evaluation is to get a sense of how you approach problems or tasks. You do not need to have the "right" answers to be hired. If you are confused about wording, or have any questions please reach out. The goal is not for you to feel stuck or weed out candidates. You will definitely not be penalized for requesting clarification or additional information. Your responses should be succinct, while providing a broad sense of how you would tackle an assignment. You should spend no more than one to two hours working on it. Thank you.
Question 1) What would you do if someone asked you to do something you disagreed with on the during the campaign? Why? Question 2) Why do you want to work on a campaign? Tell me about a time you had to work with a team to be successful? What worked? What strategies did you use? Question 3) In 201 5 Virginia held statewide elections. COG and Planned Parenthood Votes canvassed in support of Dr Jill McCabe, a Democrat running for office. How many votes did McCabe secure and what was the difference in vote count between her and her opponent? Question 3) Make a short training on any subject matter you would like.
