INTERVIEW WITH A CLINICIAN

Interview a clinician in the community, who is a nontraditional health-care provider (i.e. alternative or complimentary medicine provider) and provides services like acupuncture, homeopathy, reiki. or herbalism. During the interview, use the terminology learned from the assigned readings when you ask specific questions about how the technique can impact impairments. disorders, and/or reduce pain. And, use the communication skills presented in the reading and in the lecture. You can tell the practitioner you are a student. that usually helps them become more willing to talk. Write a 1-2 page summary in which you include the following information: Identify the practitioner, the specialty, and contact information. Describe the technique and how it works. Describe the CID populations for which it is best recommended. State your reactions to its effectiveness.
