Write a synopsis of the book. I want you to be creative with this assignment and leave it up to you as to how you are goin" rel="nofollow">ing to approach it.
The paper needs to be at least 8 pages of text total, not in" rel="nofollow">includin" rel="nofollow">ing the cover page, 12 poin" rel="nofollow">int font and double-spaced. Late papers will not be graded. The cover page should in" rel="nofollow">include your name, the date and title of the paper.
Do not wait till the end to send the paper for if it isn’t sent correctly, the document does not attach or the in" rel="nofollow">instructor cannot open it you may not get another chance to send it if it is past the turn in" rel="nofollow">in time. It is best to turn it in" rel="nofollow">in a couple days before just in" rel="nofollow">in case there are problems with it that can be corrected in" rel="nofollow">in time. Do not quote sources in" rel="nofollow">in your paper. Everythin" rel="nofollow">ing needs to be written in" rel="nofollow">in your own words. Read the material, synthesize it and then write it in" rel="nofollow">in your own words. Be careful of plagiarism. The papers will be automatically turned in" rel="nofollow">into www.turnitin" rel="nofollow">in.com. I have set it up so you can also see what turnitin" rel="nofollow">in.com says about your paper. If it looks like it came from another source, go in" rel="nofollow">in and change your paper before the due date so it is not plagiarized.
Papers comin" rel="nofollow">ing in" rel="nofollow">in after the above date and time will NOT be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS. You may send the paper early. The paper must be sent to me via the drop box in" rel="nofollow">in this class section which can be found under the assessments tab on D2L. Do not send files to me at my school (lonestar.edu) account. Namin" rel="nofollow">ing: You should in" rel="nofollow">include your name in" rel="nofollow">in the title of the paper. Your name should come first in" rel="nofollow">in the title such as: "Vlad Drak, Leavin" rel="nofollow">ing the darkside". You may call your paper whatever you like after your name.
Computer Files: You can save your paper ONLY as a Microsoft Word (.doc) file or a Text (.txt or .rtf) file. Documents saved to any other format will have to be resubmitted in" rel="nofollow">in one of these formats. If the correct format is not submitted before the deadlin" rel="nofollow">ine, the student will receive a "0" (zero) for the paper. Do not send files saved in" rel="nofollow">in "Word Perfect" format. I will not be able to open them.The paper will be graded on content and correct use of English.
