1. What is the historical context? What is happening in the world (or place of event) during the period of the document? (may need to review Tindal/Shi or background material). 2. Who is the intended audience of the document? 3. What can be learned about the society that produced the document? 4. What are the main points of the document? 5. Your opinion and/or summation of the document? Book Review — A book review from a list of books chosen by the instructor or an appropriate scholarly work of your choosing and approved by the instructor.
