Journal Reflection

    Order Description     Think about all that you've learned this week about the first five books of the Bible. Pick something that you read about or heard about in a lecture to focus on and walk me through how you're processing and thinking about that material. Here are a few options of questions that might help get you started: How does it affect your understanding of Gen. 1-2 if you read them as different stories? What was surprising or interesting to you in the stories of the ancestors? Does the concept of "sacred identity" (space, time, status) help you make sense of all the laws in the Torah? What did you think of Ch. 1 of The Bible Tells Me So?
