The report should contain an evaluation of the performance of the strut assembly when it is subjected to axial
loading. This should include predictions of failure conditions for the different designs investigated and results of
the strut assembly tests. The predicted and observed behaviour should be compared and the significance of
similarities and differences discussed. Quoted figures should be supported by justifiable estimates of
uncertainty
