Legal analysis of the short story A Jury of Her Peers by Susan Glaspell

Order Description       Write an essay on whether or not the accused in the short story "A Jury of Her Peers" by Susan Glaspell should receive the benefit of self-defense or other mitigating defenses after murdering her abusive husband. She killed him in his sleep and it is unclear if the husband was only emotionally abusive or also physically abusive. Depending on the answer, there should also be a explanation of how the result matched the "jury", the two woman who decided to destroy evidence in order to free the accused. I already have a number of potential sources I will upload.
