Living primate species

Any living primate species in which 20 minutes worth of film clips can be viewed online via at least 2
different sources. Footage must be of wild primates as opposed to those in captivity. Primates in zoos or other
forms of captivity are NOT acceptable.
Paper Requirements:
Geography: Where is your primate found in the wild today? Where was it found in the past (if this is different
from its current range)?
Biology: Give a basic description of your primate’s, height, weight, coloring, form of locomotion, etc. In other
words, by the time you’re done with this section I should have a good idea of what your species looks like/how
it’s designed.
Social Behaviors: You should go into detail concerning its basic social structures, including reproductive
activities.
Observation Description: Give a detailed description of the behavior you see in the film clips you watch.
Current Status: Is your primate endangered? If so, why? (Make sure include how many are estimated to exist
in the wild and to what degree their populations have dropped/rose in recent decades.)
Sources:
At least 4 sources (not including the video clips). These sources need to come from reputable authorities.
Technical Aspects
Title: Your paper needs to have a title (sub-titles are not required, though they are encouraged).
Graphics: Embed into your paper at least 1 photo of your primate. Also, I would like you to embed a map
showing where your primate is found in the wild. Feel free to include any other graphics you believe to be
appropriate.
