Local museum visit

After visiting a local museum, submit a 2-3 page paper evaluating a favorite work of art scene. Describe the work seen in formal terms with consideration to the visual elements (line, shape, mass, space, time & motion, light, color, texture [minimum of 5 terms]) and principles of design (Unity & Variety, Balance, Emphasis & Subordination, Directional Forces, Contrast, Repetition & Rhythm, Scale & Proportion [minimum of 5 terms)). Consideration should also be made in reference to Contextual and Expressive theories of evaluation (refer to chapter 5). This assignment should include research of the artist and the context of when the work was created. What about the work drew your attention? What is the subject matter of the work? In what style is the work reminiscent? How does the work affect you? Be thorough in your analysis, and include works cited the page in APA format.
