Instructions Construct an argument that best captures the logic of the passage below. Write a short evaluation of the argument (approximately one paragraph). Present and defend what you believe is the strongest objection to the argument. (Even if you agree with the argument, play devil’s advocate and present what you believe would be the most plausible objection.) USE THE FOLLOWING PASSAGE FOR THIS ASSIGMENT: My friend woke up in the hospital after a skiing accident in which she badly tore her right ACL. When the medication wore off, she told me that she was experiencing the most excruciating pain that she had ever felt. Of course, I felt horrible for her. But as she was telling me about how bad the pain was, I started wondering. Can I know that any person other than myself feels pain -- meaning that they feel what I call "pain"? It struck me that the answer is no, I can't. Here's why. There are only two possible ways I could know this. One is if I could feel someone else's pain the way I can feel my own. But I can't. The other way I could know this is if I could infer what someone else is feeling from observing their behavior.
