Marketing Process
Choose a company/brand and outline the marketing process that they go through for the brand of your choice. The main issues that should he covered by the project are
• Analyse the Macro/Micro Environments of the firm and outline what strengths. weaknesses. opportunities and threats this analysis illustrates.
• Discuss how the firm should segment its market place, target the most appropriate segments and position their product/service within the mind of the consumers.
• Outline how the firm can utilise and manage its product mix and product lines. Discuss the importance of branding and how a firm manages branding. Maybe outline what stage of the Product Life Cycle the firms products are at and how their marketing strategies may vary in these stages and possibly outline how the firm develops and launches new products.
• Discuss what factors effect the firm's pricing decisions and what pricing policies do they employ. • What distribution policies do they firm use and why? • What methods of promotion do the firm employ? Discuss in some detail each of the various promotional tools that the company uses, outlining why they select
