This essay concerns what I call Kink Kulture (BDSM subculture). I am interested in how my three main philosophers reflect on this topic. (They include Jean-Luc Nancy, Nietzsche, and
Deleuze). I am interested in this present essay on how Nietzsche can reflect upon BDSM culture through the concepts of body, nudity and free will and/or how suffering through kink play and the abyss of pain can lead to knowledge and the aesthetic of beauty/happiness. These three concepts can affect the artist’s imagination and lifeworld in creative ways and I want this essay to reflect that. I have included somewhat of an introduction to this essay, an outline that I would like you to follow and fragments of a conclusion.
Kink Kulture (KK) is a vernacular term referring to a community of consenting adults who practice algophilia (BDSM). The culture of kink demonstrates a variety of activities in which power, control and pain is an important aspect. The KK overlaps heavily with polyamorous community, the goth community, the atheist community, and many others.
