The following post has two assignments namely;

1.Mass Incarceration.

Write essays that draw upon the relevant assigned course readings to answer the prompts below. Your essays should aim to synthesize – in a thorough, organized and well-presented manner – as much relevant information from the assigned readings as possible. Part I of our course has focused upon the contemporary phenomenon of Mass Incarceration. For each of the authors below, write an essay that summarizes, as comprehensively as possible, how they would approach the issue of Mass Incarceration. (How would they analyze [explain] it, what concepts would they introduce, and what arguments would they emphasize?)

2.Legislator Advocate Support

Draft a letter to your legislator ( Jim Kelly ) providing an overview of your newly created human services community program. Clearly state your human services program name and its purpose and value to the community. Explain the necessity of his/her being an advocate for your program, and request government funding.
