Sheikh Jackson Sheikh Jackson is a 2017 Egyptian drama film directed by Amr Salama. It was screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. It was selected as the Egyptian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards. Back in 2009 when Michael Jackson died, there was a sheikh who people called Jackson. Sheikh Jackson was shocked more than everyone else when he heard about the death of Michael Jackson. But what does the king of American music and a Sheikh in Egypt have in common? More importantly, will he be able to resume his life normally or will he be trapped in the question whether he is Jackson, a Sheikh or both of them combined? The "Potter Box" model is a way of morally analyzing ethical issues. The "Potter Box" introduces four dimensions of moral analysis to aid us in locating those places where most misunderstanding occurs. 1. Using the "Potter Box" four dimensions model, discuss the moral reasoning in the Sheikh Jackson case, take into consideration the differentiation between the religious perspective and the media role as well as the person's own conviction.
