You can pursue a different option which is less work and therefore which will be weighted 1/3rd the weight
of the essay. You can simply bullet point your ideas about one poem in 10-15 bullet points. The first bullet
should be a thesis about how the play connects to one of the global issues. The two assignments have
different rubrics. I would still like the bullet points to be complete sentences so that I can understand your
intended meaning. You can include relevant direct quotations from the poem as up to 3 of your bullet points.
If your main points are expressed in a paragraph format, that’s also acceptable for this.
