metaphysics Order Description   the second of four short reflection papers, papers are designed to show how well you have understood and integrated course concepts into reflections on your own worldview. In addition to working out your own personal philosophy, you will also need to show that you can thoughtfully discuss different positions, and can offer reasons why you chose the view you did. Each paper will address the following points. What is my philosophy of ___metaphysics_________ (the topic) and why do I feel this is the most compelling view (providing convincing arguments for your choice). Examples where this philosophy makes sense in my experience. What alternative philosophies we studied in this area do I reject and what are my reasons for rejecting them. How having this understanding about me and my philosophy regarding this topic will help me now and in the future. Does this change anything for you? Specific Instructions for the Metaphysics Paper: This paper should demonstrate your understanding of what the world is like. Include at least the following: What is your view of the mind/body problem? Are you a monist or a dualist? Which one of the three positions on freedom and determinism do you hold and why?
