Migrant Workers in Saudi Arabia
Migrant Workers in" rel="nofollow">in Saudi Arabia
The topic choosen meet the followin" rel="nofollow">ing criteria:
• It has to be global. That means it has to address a global issue, not just focus on a
different country or on people of different origin" rel="nofollow">ins. Example: lookin" rel="nofollow">ing at conditions of a
group of migrant laborers in" rel="nofollow">in an American city is fin" rel="nofollow">ine, but you have to lin" rel="nofollow">ink them to global
patterns of labor and migration.
• It has to have an identifiable scholarly literature. This is one of the most important
aspects of the project and I have provided a description of what constitutes a scholarly
source on pages 2-4. At least 7 of your sources have to be scholarly pieces of around
10 pages or more and the rest have to be what I term “substantive” sources (see below)
of significant length—the average newspaper article would not be long enough.
• It has to be doable. Studyin" rel="nofollow">ing human traffickin" rel="nofollow">ing is too broad. Studyin" rel="nofollow">ing one particular
in" rel="nofollow">instance of human traffickin" rel="nofollow">ing is too narrow. Studyin" rel="nofollow">ing a network of human traffickin" rel="nofollow">ing or a
set of policy issues addressin" rel="nofollow">ing the issue of human traffickin" rel="nofollow">ing is more likely to be
doable. Studyin" rel="nofollow">ing environmental dangers to rain" rel="nofollow">inforests or global warmin" rel="nofollow">ing is too broad.
Studyin" rel="nofollow">ing particular current in" rel="nofollow">initiatives to curb global warmin" rel="nofollow">ing is more likely to be doable.
