What it means for this task:
- The company and its products are explained
- The claim is realistic and its origins are explained (survey, experiment, etc.)
- The graph or graphic supports the claim, but is misleading in some way
- You demonstrate an understanding of misleading graphs and how to avoid the issue you demonstrated.
Objective: You are in charge of marketing and communications for a company. You have been tasked to create an advertising campaign for your latest product or service to demonstrate its effectiveness.

- Background information: What is your company called? What products or services do you offer?
- New campaign: What is your new/improved product or service?
- Claims and data: What claim are you making about your product? Where did your company get this data? Is there anything misleading about this claim? (This claim should be realistic, even if there is some misleading aspect)
- Graph/Graphic: Create a graph or graphic to further illustrate your claim. This graph/graphic should be misleading in some way, but still generally support the claim you are trying to make. The goal is to demonstrate the Misuse of statistics and how your company could intentionally or unintentionally mislead the public in order to exaggerate its claim.
