First and foremost, remember to tell an engaging story. Keep your reader interested in whatever "story" you are
relating and make us feel we are on the journey with you.
Whether you are writing a PERSONAL STORY, a story about SOMEONE ELSE or a SITUATION, remember to
find a greater purpose in your story that gives an idea or theme that is bigger than just the experience.
If you need to bring in research or a fact or outside quotes, integrate it into your story.
PAY CLOSE ATTENTION how you begin your story and how you end it. There should be something unified
about your opening and closing that makes it memorable.
There are many WAYS to write this using various structure, quotes and imagery. Make it come alive to the
reader somehow. Because YOU are writing the story, use descriptive words to help us be a part of your tale.
