An article by Daniel Heller of The English Journal, suggests that the brain development
of a new brain usually matures during the first three years of life. Anything after three years of age
is left up to nurture. This suggests any characteristics you may develop are left up to nurture, yet
your current level of how you’ll pertain knowledge is already set in stone by nature. This idea
gives room for speculation. If everyone in one family has a high IQ, is that because their genetics
made their brains function at a higher frequency? Or did they pass the knowledge along each
generation, the knowledge of how to learn things and how to learn fast?
