The two areas highlighted is red is the focus no introduction or conclusion this is a group project this is my focus. 1 Planning audience research 2 Preliminary message Campaign/Intervention design • Examine campaign goals and theoretical approaches to health campaigns • Consider: audience segmentation, formative research, message testing, channel selection, process research, and front-end approaches • Assess health crisis communication and the role of timing/planning in campaign/intervention Theories of Health Communication • Consider key theories of health communication, including: o Social cognitive theory o Social normative o Tailoring o Narrative approaches o EPPM o Gain/loss framing
