After reading the book, "Our Kids," by Robert Putnam, please write a 3-4 page paper that analyzes the community in which you live. Your paper should describe your local schools, family structures that you've observed, local economy, and other relevant features similar to what Putnam analyzed in the book.
After you've described your local community along these lines, explain if you think "the American Dream" is still possible in your community. You may want to describe what works and what needs improvement in your community in order for the "American Dream" to flourish.
