Do patients with IBS have a better quality of life when they take Vitamin D supplements compared to patients with IBS who do not?
The purpose of this learning activity is to demonstrate application of evidencebased practice in nursing.

1. Review the literature to determine an identified problem in nursing practice. 3.
2. Formulate a research question (see PICO template).
3. You will then construct a review of literature paper to address the nursing
   problem.
4. Select a minimum of 5 published research articles that relate to the identified
   problem.
    Selected articles must be from peer reviewed nursing research journals, or
   peer reviewed research journals from related disciplines with a minimum of
   three articles from peer reviewed nursing journals.
    The articles must be primary sources. This means that the article must be a
   report for one research study. Please avoid meta-analyses and review
   articles for this assignment.
    The paper must be in APA format and written in narrative.
    Your audience for this paper is someone who knows nothing about the article
   you are critiquing and does not have access to the guidelines/rubric. The
   paper must stand alone as a cohesive paper.
