functioning properly nor benefitting clients in need of its services. For change to
occur you must present these issues to your supervisor. Given the power of
effective communication in interpersonal leadership, you want to use the
concepts of persuasive speech to present your recommendations.
In this assignment, create a proposal using the principles of persuasive speech
to address these challenges in hopes to better help those in the community. This
proposal should be written to present to your supervisor. Your speech should
include elements of both pathos and logos.
● Pathos refers to emotional reasons for attitudes, beliefs, or actions.
● Logos refers to rational or logical proofs. In persuasive speeches, logical
proofs are arguments, reasoning, and evidence to support claims.
