Creative Writing Packets are the opportunity to compile your creative work in each genre of the quarter. They are a showcase for your creative writing and document your growth and progress as a writer.
Creative Writing Packets contain three parts:
- Early drafts of your creative submission (in this case, at least one early draft of each of the two poems you submit).
- "Final" drafts of your submission (in this case, two poems).
- A progress letter including the following:
A summary of your overall growth in this genre (poetry) this quarter. What was your relationship to poetry when you entered this course? What is it now? What new insights do you have about poetry? How and why did you perspective shift?
