The aim of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to get relevant in" rel="nofollow">information across to a non-expert audience, not to your fellow students. The easiest way to construct the leaflet is to use Microsoft Word or Adobe Illustrator, and convert the fin" rel="nofollow">inished file to PDF. Leaflets should clearly fold in" rel="nofollow">in 2 or 3 when prin" rel="nofollow">inted. However there will be no deduction of marks for small formattin" rel="nofollow">ing issues. We are more in" rel="nofollow">interested in" rel="nofollow">in your ability to get the message across than your skills at origami. Markin" rel="nofollow">ing guide: Content(8marks) It is expected that the leaflet will contain" rel="nofollow">in appropriate in" rel="nofollow">information at the level of knowledge of the target group. For example, detailed scientific in" rel="nofollow">information is not suitable for high school students. One of the main" rel="nofollow">in aims of this assignment is to distil in" rel="nofollow">information to a suitable level for the target audience to fully understand the issue bein" rel="nofollow">ing discussed. Labellin" rel="nofollow">ing(3marks) The leaflet should be clearly labelled to in" rel="nofollow">include the topic under discussion. It should also be split in" rel="nofollow">into sections so that, at a glance, important parts of the topic are brought to the attention of the user. It should also contain" rel="nofollow">in the name of the author. Images (4 marks)  Images should be at an appropriate level for the audience, relevant to the topic and not simply in" rel="nofollow">included to take up space. Any complex figures should be clearly explain" rel="nofollow">ined in" rel="nofollow">in the text. 4. Formattin" rel="nofollow">ing(3marks) The leaflet should be clearly formatted as a leaflet. Small formattin" rel="nofollow">ing issues such as non-alignment of figures will not be penalised. 5. Referencin" rel="nofollow">ing(2marks) Leaflets generally do not have rigorous academic referencin" rel="nofollow">ing, but will contain" rel="nofollow">in citations for important source material, such as government reports or scientific tables or graphs. It is essential that these are acknowledged. A leaflet should also in" rel="nofollow">include lin" rel="nofollow">inks or concise in" rel="nofollow">information on where to go for further advice.
