Develop a 15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation that will introduce a student-based audience to the current status of disparities in the US Healthcare System. You will be expected to use more than the resources listed in the course. This will mean some research on your part.
Choose three areas of interest to highlight in detail. At the end, be sure to include your recommendations on ways to overcome any identified gaps. You must include well-scripted narrative content in the note section of each slide that illustrates your understanding and depth of research to support your slide content. The notes should not simply be a restatement of the slide itself. Hint: Your slides should be impactful and visual that support the narrative scripted content in the notes.
The presentation should include:
Clear and quantifiable disparities for each of the 3 sub-groups
Detailed analysis of those health disparities as presented in current research
Discussion of the ways that the current US Healthcare system falls short in addressing those disparities.
Suggestions for effective ways to reduce disparities for each of the 3 groups presented
Relevant imagery and visual data to increase audience understanding
Presenter notes with all talking points that would be made during the presentation
