1. In 19th Century America, there were two systems of prison management. They were the Pennsylvania System and the Auburn System. Identify and discuss each system. Pick one of the systems you believe is more effective to prison management and defend your position.

Question: discuss your analysis on whether or not Megan's Law is constitutional. Support your analysis using the rules for ex post facto laws and Megan's Law requirements. Constitutionality refers to whether Megan's Law complies with due process requirements, knowledge of punishments and arbitrary application of a law. 2. There are nearly 400 law enforcement agency forensic laboratories in the United States. As a result of some high profile cases in which evidence has been mishandled, many of these labs have come under scrutiny. Those critical of locally-run labs claim that they should not be examining the evidence for cases originating and being prosecuted in their jurisdiction. Their belief is that the evidence examination function should be done at the State or Federal level. Proponents of local labs believe that their labs are certified and professionally run. Furthermore, the cost and time delays of having other labs examine their evidence would be too problematic.
