For the first component of the Session Long Project, you will write a 4- to 5-page introduction (utilizing at least 3–5 references) in which you identify a program of interest to you. This will be your SLP topic.
Here are the specific tasks for the Module 1 SLP:
Briefly provide an overview of the program in which you discuss the nature of the program. Be sure to conduct a scholarly literature review so that you are familiar with evaluations that have been published on programs of the same variety as your SLP topic.
Discuss the type of evaluation that you would plan to conduct (e.g., process evaluation, impact evaluation, etc.). Justify your selection.
Suggestion: Gather as much information about the program as you can because the remainder of the Session Long Project will deal with information specific to your chosen program. Once your topic is approved, you will develop an evaluation plan for that program.
