1) FIND a Request for Proposal (RFP) you can work with. Ideally, this would be related in some way to your
major field of study, or something you have experience with. It doesn't have to be current, but no more than two
years old would be best.
2) WRITE a letter to the contact person (if any) listed in the RFP. You'll need to make up a "company" you
represent, and you can design your own letterhead! Use business correspondence format, and include the
elements listed in the assignment sheet.
3) FIND an article. Any article related to your Proposal will do! The idea here is to get you started on the
research you'll need to be doing.
4) WRITE a summary of that article. Be sure you include the citation of your article as the title for this part.
My major is in Liberal Studies. Maybe a proposal for an afterschool program?
