Search through the current newspapers or magazines and find two examples of graphs used to accompany an article as an evidence for some point of view, preferably related to your major. Briefly comment on the graph as follows: a) State where the graph appeared. Refer to Paper or magazine, date, page number and title of article. Include the image of the graph. [20] b) Briefly state the message the graph is designed to convey. [20] c) Comment on good design features of the graph. [20] d) Comment on poor aspects of the design. Explain whether there is an incorrect scale, features that have been omitted, features which might mislead the reader. [20] e) Replicate the graph in Excel. [20] Include a clear photocopy/image of the graph to your report. Take care to choose a suitable graph and remember to focus on the graph and not on any accompanying text
