Read “Part I: The Peer Progressives” (pp 129) in Steven Johnson’s book Future Perfect before responding to the following questions in at least 2 welldeveloped paragraphs: 1) How does Johnson introduce the idea of “peer progressives” in this first part of the chapter? Who are they? What are some of their “key attributes”? How do their responses differ from standard liberal and conservative approaches to the market? In other words, what does it take to be a peer progressive? 2) How could we use the principles of peer networks to work together to create a prompt for Essay #4, understanding that by doing so, we could allow for a more collaborative effort to switch from the centralized power and decision making that occurs in most classrooms to a more distributive one?
