For each reading, you will be required to write a short, concise (~3 paragraphs) typed memo that states: (1) the point of the reading, (2) the practical implications of the reading, (3) what you liked most about the reading and (4) what you did not like and/or did not understand. I have read the article so please do not summarize the article to fill space. I want to know what you are thinking not what you read. The goal of the assignment is to ensure that all students can discuss the reading intelligently during class. Thoughtful, well written memos will receive full credit. Poorly written memos may not receive full or any credit.
