Select a film currently in theaters that deals with religion in some broad way. Screening reports tend to be mainly descriptive. Film reviews however place evaluation to the forefront. Reviews are more of a judgment of the overall quality of a certain film or films, backed up with solid and clearly laid out reasoning and evidence. A review essentially lets your reader know if a certain film is worth spending their money on, or if they should choose something else to see. You play an important part in that decision.
What I am expecting to see if for you to utilize what you've learned in class to speak to the value and worth of the film. For example, how does religion play a part, and how does the director utilize mise-en-scene in its various ways?
