It is your responsibility to submit the completed assignment before the dropbox closes. No hard copies or emailed copies will be accepted once the dropbox is closed. This project requires the ability to understand and apply scientific knowledge that you acquire both in" rel="nofollow">inside and outside the anatomy and physiology classroom. You will be presented a case study that is applicable to the systems we have covered and will be assigned by your in" rel="nofollow">instructor. This is a pathology that you may encounter in" rel="nofollow">in your nursin" rel="nofollow">ing career. Each topic will in" rel="nofollow">include in" rel="nofollow">information that is relevant to this assignment. For example, the knowledge you gain" rel="nofollow">in from the lesson on cell morphology will be applied to later system specific questions. Your explanations on each sub- topic should in" rel="nofollow">include in" rel="nofollow">information from sources that go beyond the textbook or classroom. You are expected to clearly understand the meanin" rel="nofollow">ing of each topic before you construct your answers. Don’t forget to read and understand the rubric before you start. Refer to it often – it will help guide you through the process. Criteria 1 Description of the pathology 2 Body System(s) in" rel="nofollow">involved 3 Normal anatomy of major body system effected 4 Normal physiology of body system effected 5 Mechanism of pathophysiology 6 Prevention 7 Treatment 8 Clin" rel="nofollow">inical Relevance 9 References 10 Professionally developed presentation 11 All questions within" rel="nofollow">in case study addressed Students will be assigned in" rel="nofollow">individual topics related to physiology and pathological conditions of physiological systems. The student will be required to complete all parts of the assigned case in" rel="nofollow">in a written paper. The paper will be double-spaced, and answers should only be on one side of the paper. The paper will be a min" rel="nofollow">inimum of 3 pages long, and should also in" rel="nofollow">include an additional citations page at the back. Additionally, sources should be cited directly after any quoted passages in" rel="nofollow">in the paper. Reputable resources in" rel="nofollow">include peer-reviewed journal articles, in" rel="nofollow">interviews with clin" rel="nofollow">inicians who deal with these pathologies on a daily basis, personal experiences, class lectures, and other reputable sources.
