Representation of White Law Enforcement and the Judicial System

Develop a comparative analysis of the characterization of white law enforcement from Kia Corthron’s Force Continuum with how the white police officer and judicial system is represented in If Beale Street Could Talk, directed by Barry Jenkins. As you do so, consider key concepts of Critical Race Theory and/or Feminist Theory as defined on the Purdue Online Writing Lab website as a way to think about what these white police officers might represent as well as the judicial system. Then relate key concepts of Lee Ann Bell’s “Theoretical Foundations for Social Justice Education” and/or Bobbie Harro’s “The Cycle of Socialization” theory as a lens by which to further analyze the significance of these aspects from both works. Then, research relevant information that helps you explore the larger social or political message Corthron and Jenkins may be suggesting when focusing on this particular theme. I've listed all the documents below. Except for Kia Corthron's "The Force Continuum" play and "If Beale Street could talk" movie.
