Write a research paper of at least 6 double-spaced pages in length.
Identify at least six methods by which most ordinary people can participate in the American political system.
For each method that you identify, evaluate the challenges and opportunities for ordinary people to actually engage in it.
For each method that you identify, evaluate the likelihood that this activity will actually have an impact on public policy. Discuss this in terms of (a) individual acting alone, and (b) lots of people coordinating their activities. Make sure to give actual historical examples to illustrate your points.
