Rhetorical analysis of "FOOD INC" 2008 documentary
Order Description
First: You will be doin" rel="nofollow">ing a rhetorical analysis of the "Food Inc" followin" rel="nofollow">ing the elements discussed in" rel="nofollow">in the Purdue OWL at
https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/725/01/ in" rel="nofollow">in the first part of your essay. The readin" rel="nofollow">ings in" rel="nofollow">include the sub-categories of “Elements of Analysis” and “Organizin" rel="nofollow">ing
Your Analysis.”
2. Next: For the second part of the essay, you will in" rel="nofollow">include research that either supports what the film’s thesis was OR fin" rel="nofollow">ind research that weakens the film’s thesis.
-For example: many people have seen the doc Super Size Me. For those that have not, accordin" rel="nofollow">ing to the documentary website, “Super Size Me is one man's journey in" rel="nofollow">into the
world of weight gain" rel="nofollow">in, health problems and fast food. It is an examin" rel="nofollow">ination of the American way of life and how we are eatin" rel="nofollow">ing ourselves to death.”
-If you were to fin" rel="nofollow">ind evidence to support his claim that fast food, eaten in" rel="nofollow">in large quantities on a regular basis, is unhealthy, you would in" rel="nofollow">include this in" rel="nofollow">in the second
part of your paper as research.
-The other way you could go would be to do some research on how good fast food is for people, thereby weakenin" rel="nofollow">ing his thesis. (Remember, this film is an example, you are
not to use Super Size Me for your paper)
-For the research aspect of this essay, you will be directed to the college’s library databases: https://www.swccd.edu/~library/Lvl1/in" rel="nofollow">index.asp?L1=12
I am poin" rel="nofollow">intin" rel="nofollow">ing this out because there is a lot of poor (ok, crappy) material out there onlin" rel="nofollow">ine and you want reputable, respectable sources. This is one key to college
writin" rel="nofollow">ing, you will fin" rel="nofollow">ind these on sites like EbscoHost and ProQuest, just to mention two. Wikipedia, dictionaries, and encyclopedias are not allowed. If you are
accessin" rel="nofollow">ing the sites away from campus, there are directions on how to obtain" rel="nofollow">in passwords available at the library.
