Directions
Use Microsoft Word to choose an attractive design for your brochure. (After you open Word, go to File>New
From Template and search "brochures" to find many ready-made brochure templates.)
Include the following information in your brochure:
Number of murders that occurred in your hometown in the previous year. Find this number by searching
through local newspaper websites that provide the necessary details. The UCR might have the data for your
city here.
Assemble and include a chart (or list) that includes profiles of the victims and offenders, breakdowns of the
victim-offender relationship, weapons used, and circumstances categorizing the crime.
Describe the profile of the typical murder victim in your state to determine which demographic groups face the
highest and lowest chances of getting murdered.
