Compose an essay of 750-1,000 words in which you assess your progress toward the course goals outlined on the syllabus and toward the personal goals you established for yourself in your self-assessment at the beginning of the semester. Approach your essay as an argument about your writing and your development as a writer, thinker, and communicator. Be sure to support your argument’s claims with specific evidence from your work this semester; for instance, you might describe specific aspects of paper 1, paper 2, your photo essay, photo blog posts, peer review, class participation, etc. to support your argument (though no need for formal citations). Please also consider the LfA experience and the various challenges that it, and the pandemic itself, might have posed. How did you meet those challenges? Finally, consider how you will use the skills you’ve worked on in this class in future classes, or in other parts of your life.
