Journal- Watch one film from this week’s selection of contemporary Westerns and draw significant
comparisons and contrasts between the film conventions of classic (for example, the old John Ford
Westerns starring John Wayne) and contemporary Westerns. As always, choose at least two scenes from
the film you chose to watch to use as supporting examples for your analysis. Screen shot each of them. Be
specific in your analysis, and do not summarize the plot.
