Journal Response Instructions
The Journal Responses to the stories are personal responses assigned to readings. I expect you to write
about what you think - did you like the work? Why or why not? What do you think is the author's message? Is it conveyed effectively? Why or why not? Did you learn anything about the author or time period based on the reading? Can you relate to the work? How? Don't feel the need to address all of the previous questions.
