Smart Cards

More than likely one if not all of your credit cards has recently been replaced by a “Smart Card.” After reading chapter 16 Identification Numbers and after doing some research, thoroughly explain what a “Smart Card” is, what are the pros and cons to widespread use of “Smart Cards.” “Smart Cards” are not a “new” idea explain why it may have taken so long to be adopted widely in the United States.
